It's required for this book to read 3 chapter per day. I know that it varies upon reading paces, so if you want to read ahead that's pefectly fine, just write something like *spoiler alert*. Anyways i love this book, and i hope anyone that reads along will love it too :D

Neither did I John Green always seems to make the perfect ending. Like even though you want it to all work out it's just like real life. Have you read any other books by him as well?

An Abudance of Katherines is good. But I loved Looking for Alaska. I had the same feeling after I finished it that I had when I finished TFiOS.

Yeah totally agree Looking forcAlasko and TFiOS had to be the best ones that he's written. Just both the characters and the plot in each story were amazing

I loved this book. I wasn't able to pace myself, I just had to finish it as soon as possible but the ending to me wasn't all that. I felt as if John was just trying to get it over with. It was heartbreaking all the way from when I found out Gus still had cancer until he died. Afterwards, it just got meh.

Yeah I didn't know what to think about the end either but somehow I do feel that it was complete

Paula (pmhenslow42) | 3 comments I think he made it so that the book has an open ending where people can feel free to judge whether Hazel died, or Hazel has moved on and is now living a long and happy life. It's better this way because if I were John Green I wouldn't want my readers to get bored with the book because of me prolonging it too much. It's such a great book that I understand some of you are disappointed you finished it too fast. I finished it in just a day and I'm rereading it.

Yeah i found it a day or two after it came out, and i read it slowly so that i could get a feel for the book, and i liked the open ending as well. I'll probably be reading it again in January

BookDeliria (Dia) (24celestine) I loved this book. It taught me a lot and the best part was that the lessons were put in a deep-easy-touchy way. Like "the world is not a wish-granting factory" Some writers would put it like, "wishes wont always be granted" or "not all your wishes come true" But John Green made it more cute, more sensitive and thoughtful.

And about Augustus waters, THATS how EVERY teenage boys should think, converse or be like(everyone is entitled to their own opinion). He was smart and witty. I didnt fall in love with him because he was hot. I fell inlove with him because he was THE most caring-altruistic-nerdy-sensitive-creative-poetic boy character there is.

OKAY.

I know, guys should definitely be more like him. He spoke his mind, and there are hardly any guys out there with the balls to do that. I love how he just went up to her, and basically told her she was beautiful. I wish he hadn't died, but if he did live i don't know if the story would be half as good. It's the heartwrenching stuff that gets to you.

Ju (wraithlair) Definitely one of my favorite books! I liked how easily the life lessons and philosophical comments were conveyed and in such a funny way that it would make you remember no matter what :')
Plus Morgan, you're right, "the pain demands to be felt" after all and I guess that's why we remember him the most.
