The future of us is about two high school friends in 1996 that discover facebook on there new aol cd. They soon find out they are looking at themselves 15 years in the future. This book has two main characters Josh and Emma. Emma is a teenage girl who runs cross-country and josh is a kid that likes to skate. While josh likes his future and ends up with the most popular girl in high school Emma doesn't and decides she doesn't like the way her future turns out she decides to change it. The main problem in this book is Emma doesn't like her future and keeps trying to change it. She soon finds out that every small thing she does has a greater roll in her future.

Overall I thought the book was an ok book nothing great but interesting how two people could see there future. I think the type of reader that would like this book would be someone into fantasy or fiction. Id give it four star rating overall.
