Is it bad that one of my favorite moments is when Caia kicked Rose's ass? I've been waiting for two books for that! Although, I thought it would be Jae doing the kicking...
OMGOD Kathy I completely agree, I was so freaking happy with Caia kicked FINALLY kicked Rose's ass. My two favorites moments though, were when Marion came BACK!! and when Jae and Ryder worked out there issues in the woods (such a cute scene!!!).
I love Ryder, he is just awesome and I completely agree both of those scenes were epic!

And Jae and Ryder...they are the best. They really made the series for me. Every scene with them is special, but yes, that was a fantastic scene.
I loved that Marion came back, that was fantastic happy point in that book. I also loved the scene where Marion's sister got was she deserved.

Oh my gosh, YES! She was evil incarnate. And Marion was sooo sweet.
I actually really like Rueben (please don't shout at me) with his sarcastic wit! His moodiness! LOL I really warmed to him but as an overall scene that i liked best out of the book... It would have to be when Caia FINALLY got to have a piece of Rose! O i was doing some serious cheering lol!

Lol. You're not alone. I think a few of us were fond of Reuben. He was a charmer. And so funny. He really got under Ryder's skin- and into Jae's heart. His part was really interesting and surprising.
I think we all cheered when Caia let Rose have it.
I liked Rueben also. I think he added a really fun dynamic to the story.
I was thrilled when Caia finally put Rose in her place. I thought she deserved worse, very lucky in my opinion. I melted when Ryder broke thru Jae's shield- I would have been devasted if things didn't work out between them, they are sooo good together

Omg... there were soooo many favorites to choose from! Like everyone else I loved when Rose was finally taken care of... I especially loved when Marion came back!!! And when Ryder and Jae worked things out :) I was so sad that they had such a rough beginning and I'm so glad he hung in there and didn't give up on her :) I really loved the ending when Caia woke up and found out Lucien was still alive thanks to the oh so sweet girl who risked her self by exposing her ability to save him :D

Guess first of all had a hard time with the huge break in the beginning of the book that was Ruben's story. Even though I realize the necessity of the background. And i guess some of the conversations just felt forced. It just didn't seem to flow as well as the others.

Darn. That's understandable. It was a complicated set up. I didn't have that problem with the flow, but I get what you mean. I've had that with other books that my friends just loved and I had a hard time with- recently too.

Seriously, Jae and Ryder made the books for me. What an amazing story theirs was. Laila- oh how I adored her. I really hope when Sam gets around to The Repercussions spin off that Laila and Vil have a part in it. They were so different from the other characters.

I absolutely LOVED all those moments too!! I was so happy to se Caia and Lucien truly together. The hardships they went through killed me. Seeing Rose get hers was deviously enjoying.
I love the overall joining of the different cultures.

Based on her reading other people through out the story I think a lot of them were waiting for some kind of peace between the factions. There seemed to be many who just wanted peace. There were still those who were harder to convince and some who never were willing to accept peace. But there were also many who when given the chance joined for peace.I also think that there were more then one hero/heroine. They all worked together to win the war and find peace. Some of them were a bit more stubborn then others in doing what they should ***cough cough Lucien cough cough*** lol but aren't most men difficult like that? What matters is that they pulled through in the end and stuck together to fight for peace :)

No worries, Amy. Hope all is going well. I love your response. I think the book held to true to human impulses and behaviors. Especially with the guys. Um, yeah...Lucien. STUBBORN. Caia was a bit too naive for me at times, but having no one around but Lucien's sister for so long, she really had no one to relate to, so I forgave her silliness a lot.
I loved watching the two covens coming together. Watching the struggles throughout, it was interesting watching the individuals grow and learn to accept each other. Hmm. Was Sam trying to tell us something there?
