I am still holding out hope that Sam will want to revisit and add more...Don't you think she left it open for that Laura??
We diehards have been anxiously waiting for Lunarmorte Repercussions. The date keeps getting pushed out. If you guys haven't already, check out Sam's website- she's got more info there. Be sure and let her know how much you loved the trilogy. Feedback means a lot to Sam.

I love them ALL! Totally cheered when Rose finally got what she deserved. Marion- oh, she is wonderful. I was so happy to see her return. And found her true love.
And Jae and Ryder...they are the best. They really made the series for me. Every scene with them is special, but yes, that was a fantastic scene.

Oh my gosh, YES! She was evil incarnate. And Marion was sooo sweet.

Lol. You're not alone. I think a few of us were fond of Reuben. He was a charmer. And so funny. He really got under Ryder's skin- and into Jae's heart. His part was really interesting and surprising.
I think we all cheered when Caia let Rose have it.

Still couldn't take to Lucien. Love Ryder. Ruben was hate/like. Was definitely shocked a couple of times. But the story itself felt a little disjointed to me.

What make it feel that way for you? Would like to hear your what was off to you. It's good for the discussion. And I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it as much.

Guess first of all had a hard time with the huge break in the beginning of the book that was Ruben's story. Even though I realize the necessity of the background. And i guess some of the conversations just felt forced. It just didn't seem to flow as well as the others.

Darn. That's understandable. It was a complicated set up. I didn't have that problem with the flow, but I get what you mean. I've had that with other books that my friends just loved and I had a hard time with- recently too.

Seriously, Jae and Ryder made the books for me. What an amazing story theirs was. Laila- oh how I adored her. I really hope when Sam gets around to The Repercussions spin off that Laila and Vil have a part in it. They were so different from the other characters.

Amy I LOVEDDD when Caia woke up in a panic because she thought Lucien was dead, and that moment when she heard his voice...omgoodness I was dying from how amazing her reaction was, so so good <3

I absolutely LOVED all those moments too!! I was so happy to se Caia and Lucien truly together. The hardships they went through killed me. Seeing Rose get hers was deviously enjoying.
I love the overall joining of the different cultures.

Kathryn brought up something that in the end defined the whole series for me; the joining of the different cultures. All along we saw the loyalty displayed among the separate factions, and the struggles even within those groups- especially among the wolves. What or who do you think ultimately brought them all together? Was it a certain moment or a culmination of events? Fear? Survival of the fittest? Or a desire for peace? Was it Caia, Lucien, Marion, or maybe even Laila? Would they have survived without the Midnight Coven and their combined efforts? Who was the true hero/heroine in your eyes? Was there more than one?

I also think that there were more then one hero/heroine. They all worked together to win the war and find peace. Some of them were a bit more stubborn then others in doing what they should ***cough cough Lucien cough cough*** lol but aren't most men difficult like that? What matters is that they pulled through in the end and stuck together to fight for peace :)

No worries, Amy. Hope all is going well. I love your response. I think the book held to true to human impulses and behaviors. Especially with the guys. Um, yeah...Lucien. STUBBORN. Caia was a bit too naive for me at times, but having no one around but Lucien's sister for so long, she really had no one to relate to, so I forgave her silliness a lot.
I loved watching the two covens coming together. Watching the struggles throughout, it was interesting watching the individuals grow and learn to accept each other. Hmm. Was Sam trying to tell us something there?

Once everyone has had a chance to chat a bit- and recoup from the holiday, I'll throw out a few questions to wrap up our discussion, and see if there might be questions you'd like to present to Sam. How's that sound, guys? No rush, no worries. Enjoy the season! <3
