Julie (jjmachshev) (jjmachshev) | 2 comments I get most of my free books via reviews. I'm an EarlyReviewer over at LibraryThing and have also had some authors contact me asking for a review. If it's an author request, I'm always careful to make sure they understand that my reviews are honest, not 'feel-good'. I also sign up for several of my favorite authors contests on their websites.

Also, Goodreads has their 'giveaways' page here http://www.goodreads.com/giveaway where you can sign up for free books!!

Julie,

I love the giveaways that are on this site. I've only won a few of them but I like that they have so many in one place and they are all different varieties.

Thanks for the post.

-Jennifer

Did anyone else notice that with the Gnostic Memories giveaway there were 500 books available and only 493 people entered?

I signed up for the giveaway and I wasn't a winner. I e-mailed GoodReads about it but have yet to receive a response. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I just thought it was kind of weird that there were more books available than winners and I signed up and didn't win!!
