Thanks for sharing your story Norma. I think everyone gets their inspiration to learn from different places. I've always been inquisitive by nature, wanting to understand the world around me.
But without a doubt, my Grandmother has provided a lot of inspiration for me and my memory of her continues to do so. She was the happiest person I ever knew and it is because she never stopped learning, changing, growing and becoming a better person. Even in her last days of life she had an insatiable appetite to learn new things.
My Mother also taught me the joys of learning, the euphoric feeling you get after mastering a challenge is quite mesmerizing. From my Mom I developed an understanding that learning is also painful at times, that you have to push yourself and persevere but the end result is well worth the time and effort.
What motivates me to continue learning new things is the pleasure I get from sharing my knew found knowledge with others. Discussing new ideas, theories, and concepts helps me to take my practice to the next level, to assimilate information into my own life and to change for the better.

One of my favorites is Anthony Robbins. I tried listening to others, but didn't feel the same from them. One day I took action.
I completed my educational goals and became a published writer and also published my photography. It's so true what they say. Be careful what you wish for you just might get it.
I always thought that anything was possible. Listening to these words from motivational speakers opened a new door for me. I felt better about myself and my self esteem grew.
I wrote a few books on my stories on motivation. I wrote a few on fitness and how to stay motivated. I found myself when other people were putting me down. I learned a lot.
But I guess this is what happens when you become a different person. When you are about to become successful people leave you alone no one wants to be bother with you. I learned that when I lived in NYC.
It's alright and I accepted it. I know who I am today. Maybe some of you have been through these changes too. Some of my books outline some of the changes I went through while I was in the process of changing my life.
One famous thought as time went by was when an old friend told me I don't want to be your friend until you get your high school diploma. One day I was walking down the street and saw this person. I already had my diploma and more, but I refused to talk to them ever again.
How many of you have gone through something like this? This is what I call success. If I can do it so can anyone else. Success doesn't mean being wealthy. It means getting through life's problems when you never thought you could.
