A Song of Ice and Fire
question
A Song of Ice and Fire: Too explicit or just about right?

I would like to know your opinions on this matter. I think it does convey quite a bit of our medieval times, but the violence and sex might be a tad too much for some.

Yeah, for me the details of the sex scenes are something I could do without. They are especially bad when the audiobook is voiced by an old (sounds like he's 90) British guy who is voicing the woman's "pleasure".
Trying to listen to them during my car ride to work has me embarassed most the time and turning the volume down to practically nothing.

I od not think so, in the books sex is not too much ( let me be clear I do not ask for more) BUT sex is not what keeos the reader reading. We have an amazing epic story and some sex too, sex is in life like war and death and pride and all these every day things. If you ask me in the tv series then yes, too much sexual content, very nicely shown, but still.
