Hello! I'm Mark McLaughlin. I'm the author of 20-plus books from such publishers as Delirium Books and more recently, Damnation Books and Wildside Books.

My latest book is Beach Blanket Zombie: Weird Tales of the Undead and Other Humanoid Horrors, a thick collection of 33 tales featuring an array of flesh-eating monstrosities, from Wildside Books. In time for the Holidays!

I'm also the co-author (with Michael McCarty) of the supernatural horror novel, Monster Behind The Wheel.

My favorite authors are Robert Aickman, H.P. Lovecraft, Basil Copper, Hugh B. Cave, August Derleth, Robert Bloch. Carl Jacobi - I love all the vintage Weird Tales authors from the pulp era. My favorite book of weirdness would have to be The Wine-Dark Sea by Robert Aickman, a British master of macabre creepiness.
