J.R.R. Tolkien discussion

I have a copy of what I believe is the 70th anniversary edition of The Hobbit. It is the dark green hardback version with red and gold designs/runes. ISBN: 0-395-17711-1
My printing has the chapter 'over hill and under hill' printed twice, I am curious if anyone else has a printing with the same duplicated chapter.

Interesting, i love the look of the cover. My editions are very early and a British publication. i have had to have them rebound. The maps are perfect though.

I've got that edition - no repeat chapter, had it for years - it is a first printing of that version, I bought it new, and it is boxed. How odd yours differs.

I too have that edition and mine doesn't contain the repeat chapter.
