Take any novel, or novels, you've read over the past year and write an epilogue. What happens to those characters, say 1 year, 5 years, 10 years out? Or perhaps a better ending than the author wrapped it up with. Satire endings? Please, make us laugh!

Note: This is in no way a means to discredit authors, or their work. This is merely for fun.

Even some of the best books I've read- the ending was so WTFery that I would have loved to written a better ending, or where the heck was the HEA? Some, you just looove to hate! Perhaps there are also books you'd love to make complete hilarity or maybe that hero belonged with another secondary character! Did that hero's right-hand man suit the heroine better??

Now that Tristan and Juana were now devoted to each other, I would have liked to see what happened to them when they went to England to reclaim Tristan's estate. I bet Denys could have come up with all kinds of intrigue. I don't think I could do a sequel justice though. :(

Yessss... by the time they stopped chewing the other's head off, the book was over. -.o I wonder if a book would survive without that type of confrontation!

My personal dream-ending, is one of Jennifer Wilde's novels. (Wont' give it away, 'cause some people haven't read it). Cliffhanger baggage at the end...and I..... I couldn't stand how we were left in the middle of freakin' NOWHERE. You don't even know what happens. I truly felt they were possibly better off without the other, in all honesty.

Sara | 40 comments One book that stand out for me that needs a ending is Forever Amber. I always imagined Amber going to America and gets her heart broken by Bruce again and somehow she finds love with someone else and eventually along the way she runs into Bruce because they run in the same circles so to speak and for the first time he sees her in a different light (grown up) and he spends his time trying to get Amber back. They eventually end up together and as the Story goes Happy Ever After!

ITA. Amber is one book that I'd love to see a sequel for. Though, probably like with Scarlett/GWTW, no sequel could satisfy. :P

LOL, in my case I'm writing the UNHAPPY-EVER-AFTER with Pirate's Conquest by Mary Martin. I wrote a scathing review on it, but this is the whole of it:

I wanted them all to just burn...just sink with that ship, please. Just everyone die. Let this f*cktarded misery END, FFS! Even the damn ship got a makeover and HEA.

F*ck. OFF.

The ship ablaze an' sinking on the horizon would have set my life a glitter. >:D
