Okay...since no one else has started a discussion on this yet,I thought I'd start one. I am going crazy wondering about what's going to happen in Origin. And I have seven months to keep wondering. So if you come across this, do leave a comment, please, to satisfy my greed for Katy and Daemon :)

Teaser aka Torture #1:
All the pent up, helpless rage formed a wrecking ball inside of me. Maintaining human form was near impossible. I wanted to hit something—destroy something. I needed to.

I know, I was wondering why there wasn't a scene from Daemon's pov in the end of Opal when I remembered that the whole fourth and fifth books are going to be partly from his gorgeous, smexy point of view!! I bet the first teaser is at the beginning of the book and they're all thiking of how to get Katy out. I love seeing Daemon so hot and bothered about her!!

she's probably going to be experimented on by the DOD. maybe they'll train her for that hybrid army they're trying to create. i'm expecting a great change in katy by the end of origin. but no matter what, daemon will save her for sure :)

I keep imagining this scene, where Daemon gets to meet Katy a few months later, but they're under strict surveillance. He goes up to her cell and nearly collapses at seeing her. Beautiful as ever, glowing. But when she looks up, her eyes lack the recognition, the warmth that always used to come up, on looking at him. But yet he tries.. "Katy?" He goes near her. But she..she recoils back. "Wh..who are you?"

i've imagined many negative and positive scenes how katy and daemon find each other. one of them is how katy breaks free and comes into daemon's room to catch ash kissing him. uh, i hope that DOES NOT happen! i just want them to be strong enough to remember each other. they deserve a happy ending more than anyone else... wouldn't it be weird if katy's dad turned out to be an alien? even if he's dead.

anyway, i hope dee tries to save katy too. maybe she'll forgive katy now. and maybe dawson and bethany will stick aroung to help too, cause you know, katy risked it for them.

i hope that luc kid makes an appearance. he's adorable

lets face it after Opal's ending...Origin is gonna be the best in the series so far I honestly can't wait I'm freaking out now wondering whats going to happen Im gonna be a wreck by next year!
and i think Katy's mum will either find out the truth about daemon, or maybe she will have 'memory' stuff happen to her and she forgets she even had a daughter (it could happen lol!!) but one thing is for sure, Daemon is going to go nuts :)

Okay, so if the next TWO books are through both Katy and Daemon's POV's (Which I'm just assuming because Jennifer said there would be 2 POV'S) does that mean they won't get Katy out until the 5th book? Cause why else would there need to be two POV's unless they stay seperated. Ugh.

good point, but let's keep our fingers crossed for katy and daemon being together throughout the 5th book. i mean, katy ain't that weak and daemon ain't that patient :)

maybe its one of those books, like the angel series by l a weatherly, that shows us the characters' POVs while they are and aren't together. one can only hope that they will be together.


in fact, i bet jennifer's just itching to show us daemon's dirty mind and that can only happen if he's with katy. so i'm going to ignore all the bad things can happen and be happy in my bubble, praying daemon and katy make things permanant by the end of the 4th book. i bet daemon's dying to get katy as his fiancee, then wife even if he doesn't show it!! :D

I really hope there's a lot of cool training scenes for Katy , and she becomes even more kick-ass :D

remember when katy said she'd become faster than daemon one day? i hope that happens soon!!

I would like to be in Daemon's dirty mind as well *wink* Seriously though I'm really excited to see this through Daemon's POV as he gets Katy back. Maybe now he'll finally say he loves her.

I also wonder if they'll try and talk to each other telepathically, since Daemon could hear her thoughts when she was in his true form.

No matter what happens I'm dying to read it and just hope they end up together... I'm also excited for Dawson and Beth. I felt so bad for them after reading Shadows.

katy tried that telepathy thing at school and it didn't work. that would be too easy... but origin sure is going to be in top of my wanted list for 2013.

i actually read shadows after obsidian, so i always want more of katy and daemon than beth and dawson. they're both cute couples.

i hope that katy kills blake after daemon kicks his ass and does worse! that'll be fun to read.


the blake-punching-chris thing is too suspicious though. i wish i can find out more about what happened to simon and carrissa in origin. can't wait but i know i have too!

katy didn't have a birthday in Obsidian. she was 17 then. turned 18 in Onyx and stays so in Opal. so the 3 books have been written in the duration of 1 year and more. I was jealous for katy when Dee got those black boots from daemon. oh well...

what do you think happened to Carissa? and simon?

Thats kind of what I was thinking. I hope that happens I don't think I could stand it if they were completely cut off from each other for the whole book.

But whatever happens, I know Daemon'll never give up. He'll even make an enemy an ally if desperation be. That's what scares me. What if he has to be-ally a whore ?! xO Think of possibilities of the book going from that point. And all possibilities I can think of are bad ones. What if they're caught together while trying to break into the DOD's faculty where they're keeping Katy? What if the DOD tries to make Katy see this in a different way, a betraying way?! xO

whatever happens, i'm sure we'll see blake again. if not in origin, then in the 5th book...i bet chris wouldn't approve of him doing all the things he has done.
but for some reason, i don't know what to expect from daemon. he could stay calm and befriend an enemy, or he could go crazy, not trusting anyone and getting katy out himself. it would be best if they found each other quickly, with none of the above mentioned cliches and go undergroung like beth and dawson are supposed to.

katy'll be stronger than ever. she's the heroine so i don't think she'll be unhinged. maybe she'll be more powerful than daemon. who knows?

but i know for sure that she'll be ever ready to kick the ass of whoever messess with her or her luxen :)

Yeah, I don't think Blake "really likes" Katy anymore. He pretended to make them believe he wouldn't betray them.

Yeah, was anyone else super creeped out when he was sleeping with her at night? I knew right from the get go that it wasn't Daemon, but something/someone else. Just creepy to think it was Blake.

Number one on my wishlist of things to happen in Origin: Blake dies. :)

I consider Katy and Daemon reuniting as a given. I don't even want to think they aren't...

Oh, and for some reason I generally don't hear songs that remind me of books. But the first book by Philips Philips on American Idol when he covers the song, "That's All." It reminds me of Katy and Daemon and not getting along, but still liking each other.

And for some reason Hey Ho reminds me of both the first and second book. When Daemon is trying to convince her that they're meant for each other.

Skyfall reminds me of Opal. Them fighting together as one.

Do you have any songs that remind you of this series? Do think the songs I mention fit?

I agree, Blake deserves to die. And even if Chris is innocent, he's Blake's best friend so what does that say about him?

I haven't heard the songs you mentioned but I know that 'Red Cup, Hands Up, Long Brown Hair' by Boys Like Girls is a perfect song for Daemon and Katy. Its about a crazy(not mentally) girl the singer loves and there's this line "you're everything i'm looking for..." and its totally how Daemon feels for Kitten!

And for some unknown reason, Demi Lovato's 'All Night Long' reminds me of Katy. weird...

anyone else feel like when Daemon says 'Kat', the word 'kit' should be added in front because Daemon's always looking at Katy like she's a tasty snack? what better than Kit Kat?

there's nothing we can do to sweet-talk JLA into releasing the book earlier. but more horrible news: the release date of Lux # 5 has been postponed from 2013 to 2014!! craaaaaaaaaaap!!

Um WHAT??? 2014!!! So far...with no daemon... Thats gonna be hard especially if origin ends on a cliffhanger :(
