Just as there are certain movies that I watch each Thanksgiving/Christmas season, the holidays wouldn't feel complete if I didn't reread Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory. Warning, if you haven't read this before, it is more poignant than sparkly and bright.

This year was the first time I read this. I am delighted to discover new classic literature!
The TV version of "A Christmas Memory" makes me cry every time I watch it. I bought "Sook's Cookbook" because of that story.
