I really struggle to answer this question. I like some total fluff. I read all of the Sookie Stackhouse series. I liked them, just for pure escapism. Hated Twilight (only read the first book and thought Bella was complete milk toast and boring). I like Karen Marie Moning's Fever series for more fluffy goodness. If I feel a little more serious, I tend to try to harvest reads from Award winning books. That's how I found Jose Saramago's Blindness, which is really dark but I found it to be brilliant (never saw the movie, read the book years ago). I liked Mary Doria Russell's The Sparrow (thought she was brilliant in world-building) and its sequel Children of God. More recently, I liked Life of Pi, and I'm on the 2nd Game of Thrones book.

I'm glad to see a group like this though. I had received several WoW books for Christmas. I just happened to come across the podcast on accident. It's been a little confusing trying to find out what order to read the books on because every site seems to list a different order.

I just finished reading a biography called Size matters not by Warwick Davis-Any star wars fans (of which I am one) will know him as Wickett the Ewok, among his many roles of which Willow was my favorite. He's an excellent story teller and has an awesome sense of humor. I could go on and on but I'll try and pace my self :)

If anyone has seen House of Cards on Netflix, btw, a lot of Francis Underwood's mannerisms are inspired by LBJ.
