Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) It is mid-month of the first month how is your reading goal (if you have one) progressing?

Jaret According to Goodreads, I'm right on track.

Susan | 45 comments I'm in another group and have committed to at least 100 books this year - so far I'm at 15 books.

Last year - literally up to 11:45 pm New Years eve...I read the last of my TWO HUNDRED books in 2012!

Lady ♥ Belleza (bella_foxx) I'm still working on my first book.

message 11: by Monica (new)

Monica | 17 comments I just finished book 14 and will be starting 15 tonight. So, I am ahead of my goal of 12 books per month. I realize most months will not be like this, so I'm trying crank out as much reading as I can to make up for the months I may fall behind.

message 12: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) Wow! I knew you were kind of up there but didn't realize by this much! Congrats.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) That is great, Monica! I finished another book last night so should be at 10. The book I'm reading now is 400+ pages and a paperback so I think may be slowing down a bit.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) I'm at 10 too and was kinda proud of it until the reading machines named ARK and Monica weighed in:)

Great job, both of you. And Monica, I don't know where you get the time with a new baby.

message 15: by Monica (new)

Monica | 17 comments Nursing isn't just great for Annabel, I obviously benefit from it, too ;). And I made a mistake, I'm on book 14, not 15.

message 16: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) Big difference:)

message 18: by Susan (new)

Susan | 45 comments I'm not going to go for 200 again tho - just the 100 my other group has as a challenge. I've GOT to get back to writing!
Book #3 won't write itself... altho sometimes I think they do... characters take over ya know?

message 19: by Jonetta (new)

That's the sign of a well-developed character.
