I am reading, The Mind Readers,
So far, so good! It's a YA book, and I am just getting started into it. I love the structure of the writing so far, and the dialogue is great, realistic even- Even despite the fact that that main girl, Carmen, who has the ability to read minds. She and her grandmother are always on the run, after accidently exposing herself and her abilities. Carmen’s grandmother won’t tell her who these ‘bad guys’ are, but something weird is going down in her new town. I just got to a chapter where one of her high school friends have been murdered at the local high school lounge on the beach, Savannah was found face up, dead, on the shore. Somewhere in the panicked crowd, she heard a man’s thoughts, “I killed her.” The next day, a devastatingly hot new guy shows up in her school, and after some awkward moments in the class room, she learns he too can read minds. Story plot seems very YA//Paranormal cliché so far, but I have high hopes for this.
Seems as if this guy is going to try either, A)Try to get close to Carmen, to off with her because (If he is the killer) She knows he is the killer, but he’s blocking her from reading his mind right now, so maybe he wasn’t the voice she heard in the parking lot when the murder was found, maybe he’s a son of one of the “bad guys”? Orr, maybe Savannnah played a part in this whole paranormal shenanigans and knew too much of something and someone offed her, and this new guy is connected to Savannah some how, and knows that Carmen too is a mind reader, and maybe she can help him solve who killed Savannah. Oh, the joys of Young Adult novel plots and twists. Buuut, I was in the mood for a YA simple novel, this might do the trick.

I am going to get them with the next paycheck, I splurged a little more than I needed to this week. My shopping cart on Thriftbooks is growing rapidly, lol

LOL. I just point at his movie collection and he's like, "Grr, finneee." hahaha.

He tries to talk me into selling some of the ones I have right now, but, when I was 16, I sold over 800 of my books to help a friend pay off her ticket lol. The money I got back for all those books came no where close to paying off her ticket. I was devastated, I am never, ever... EVER parting from my books ever again!! Now I just gotta start over =(( I still had somewhere near 200 left, is the problem lol. And it just kept on growing, I think I still have books in boxes because it's too much of a hassle in the apartment. I cannot waaait to build a custom shelf. I am itching to get a house but I refuse to buy one in Texas.

I want more Non-YA PR books, loving the hell out of those lol.

Hehe! ! Omg I couldn't sell my books either! And no, you don't need to buy a house in Texas. PA is more like it and closer to me! Man if plane tickets didn't cost so much. grrrr lol we'd have fun!

Im like Tim with my movie collection as well tho.. lol

When it comes to movies, I looove to collect Horror, anything Musical, and favorite comedies. Comedies were easy for me to part with though, lol, I wanted to buy me another guitar at one point so I took some movies to Entertainmart a few years ago and sold them. Was a lot less painful than getting rid of my books lol. The guitar was totally worth it >.<

I think I have 50 of mine from when we first started dating, then I kinda left the movie collecting for him since we had the same taste, but omg, the dude had so many to begin with. They too are still in boxes when I packed last summer lol, we are moving in about 5 months to another place if we don't move to PA this Summer, and there are about 20 big boxes of DVD's/Blu Rays. I tried to find my Harry Potter and Across the Universe blu rays the other night, omg, I was having a fit LOL

This is such a fun series, I think you guys should join in on the fun =D

LOL I am going to try and finish the whole series (before the new release) and do a review in whole I think. I have a bunch of notes added up for all the books so far, maybe a paragraph for each character. I love this series so much, I may end up giving it its own page on my blog lmao

lol , yeah I'm trying to finish before the book signing, but I have some stuff coming up don't know if I'll have the time , grrrrr....!

Other stuff?? How can you have other stuff to do when there are so many other important things like reading and chatting /le gasp.

I do know what you mean though -_- My life is about to turn to hell again when my co-worker leaves lol, which is this Monday. Going to say hello to 12 hours shifts 6days a week again. Woo

My current reading list right now is out of control. Seriously.

Aaaaand now of course the husband wants me to go watch tv with him so my list is on hold another night *sighs* lol

Omg Kristin!!! You're a Tank girl. I can only concentrate on one book at a time. I should start stashing books in the bathroom, next to the washer, by the oven.. Multi-Taskin ..... LOL.

@Sky - Some stuff I have coming up , is March / April is busy busy birthday time, I think some people and I are going to try and all group up and go out , or have to do it diff weekends.
My Best friends daughter is SURPRISE getting married, since her boyfriend decided to join the marines, so we have 3 months to plan the wedding, gonna help her out..
Probably more random things but I'm too tired to think lol..

And omg, I'm going to miss you with you being on 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week @_@....

I'm glad it was good! I was giggling over the title when you posted it, was curious how it came out! The title alone sounds fun lolol
