Diane U (djuseless) Okay, I thought about ending this group read due to lack of participation but I am going to try changing it at the suggestion of some members.

Going forward, we will nominate ANY Christian Romance book (we will not be doing themes any more) but you cannot nominate an author that has been a past group read for 6 months. Also, you cannot nominate a book that is #2 in a series unless we have already read book #1 in a prior group read. I hope this will work better! :-)

Since I am changing this, we will accept nominations until January 25th for February's group read and there will be no limitations this month.

Here are the nominations so far:

1. The Quiet Daughter Speaks by Evelyn Richesin - Emily
2. Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble - Diane
3. Love's Sacred Song by Mesu Andrews - Jocelyn
4. Love on a Dime by Cara Lynn James - Victoria
5. Claiming Mariah by Pam Hillman - Ausjenny
6. A Reluctant Queen: The Love Story of Esther by Joan Wolf - Jennifer
7. The Tutor's Daughter by Julie Klassen - Carolyn
8. Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble - Cammie
9. Blue Moon Promise by Colleen Coble - Sherry
10. Paper Roses by Amanda Cabot - Marissa

Terri (terridunn) I'm glad your not going to close the group as of now. I'm not one that comments a lot but will try to get more involved. I did think that we would have a bit more discussion on the book of the month after everyone had read it so was surprised it was more as you were reading or finished it you would comment if you wanted. Not sure if maybe some questions that we could answer about the book would bring in more participation or not. Or if that's even what your wanting. I read a lot and pretty much all christian fiction so I've enjoyed seeing books others have nominated. I do read from my kindle app. on my ipad so it would be nice to read something that is one of the freebie downloads or low cost downloads from the sites like amazon's inspiredreads.com - just my thoughts. =)

Terri, why not nominate a book for February that you have already downloaded?

Also, I think that discussion questions are a good idea to spark conversation if they are included in the book.

Cammie | 140 comments I have a question/comment. Can we update the what are you reading thread? If you want to keep it by seasons do "what are you reading winter/spring" and "what are you reading summer/fall" that way you don't have to change it that often. We could also just do a "what are you reading now" topic. Just a thought, thank you
