She twirled her sword in her hands, humming until she saw the graves and stopped. She froze reading the names, the cause of death. The Final Test. Anger surged in her again. This is what she meant! It was a death game, not competition. She sheath her sword.

Nick appeared behind Katherine, his hand gripping to an axe which was pointed at Jacob. He looked over at Katherine with a weak smile. She didn't know him, but he knew her. He'd watched her in the forest. He knew about her hideout. He followed her here. Something about her just made him feel...attracted to her.
"She might not be, but I have no problem with it."
He looked again at Katherine, hoping she wouldn't be scared off by the sudden appearance of an apparent stalker she didn't know.

Nick looked back, his scowl replaced with a wide grin. He nodded his head in a small bow.
"Nick Holt. I've seen you around."
He lowered his axe slightly. This guy was obviously not a threat to Katherine.

Nick turned to Jacob, narrowing his eyes and he slotted his axe into his belt.
"Well, you just seemed to...catch my eye."
He looked back to her again, this time not smiling. He was trying not to give away how he felt, though it was hard. He wasn't really a people person.

Nick looked around the graveyard before eyeing them both again.
"Is there any reason you're in a graveyard?"
He noticed Katherine looking at him. Something told him it wasn't the same way he looked at her. Something more along the lines of he is a threat.

Nick looked at her, his expression softening. His eyes met hers, completely ignoring the other boy.
"Please Katherine. You can trust me."
He knew she wouldn't trust him, but it was worth a shot. They'd only just met after all.

Don't make connections. If I make connections, I'll just feel guilty of killing them and I cannot afford that.
Nick nodded, biting his lip. He never expected her to. He exhaled deeply, looking away form her.
"Usually. Sometimes you can trust people just by looking at them."
His voice was lowered to a whisper, hoping that she would pick up that he wasn't talking about trust specifically. He turned to leave, having felt like he'd embarrassed himself.

((Do you like the idea about Crown. I thought it would be interesting.)

"We have to be wise though, we can't let anyone know right now, not even the others. We got to set up everything first." The Black Market can help with storing on supplies.... her brain was whirling with ideas. She was meant to survive.

“Rest my friend,” she whispered. “It’s what you deserve.”

Jacksin shook his head. "She didn't say anything about it. He figured it out all on his own."

((We need to plan that dance soon lol))

((The contestants that will compete in a few years gets driven to Crown to participate in a huge dance, like a ball if you will))
