Did the relationship between vanessa and tony rub you the wrong way

Am I the only one who did not want this couple to happen? don't get me wrong I love Vanessa and Tony I just don't really love Tony and Vanessa together! Also do you think if they didn't get together that they might have paid more attention to Conner and ultimately prevent his suicide?

I liked the storyline of Tony figuring out his sexuality, but I felt that his relationship with Vanessa felt very weird. He couldn't deal with what was waiting at home for him.
