=======
Add the cover and jacket copy for a future book to your goodreads author page (you can do this anytime you feel you're getting close to finishing). Find the general genre in the list of this group your title fits in (Romance/SF/Fantasy/etc). Make a new post of your story when you have it in ready-to-publish format, Include:
-Title & sub-genre ("Title" - "Paranormal Romance")
-End Date to read and review - when the book will launch
-Number of copies available (hint: 10, 25, 50 are common but don't be too rigid)
-Format the book is offered in (Kindle/ePub/PDF)
-Link your cover from your author profile
-Write a short(!) version of your jacket copy, one sentence. Put full copy in your book info on your author page

Please remember to delete your post after it expires so we can keep it tidy at ARC OF AUTHORS.

Readers
=======
Please add the book you are interested in to your TBR list, this will keep you in the loop of general updates on goodreads. Request via Email direct to the Author - click through their name at the top of the post bar and go to their profile and click on "email direct". Say in the note that you would like to read the ARC and reference the book title and include your email address that can accept a book file attachment (like gmail/hotmail/aol/etc). The following information is helpful for the author if the ARC project is getting closer to fully subscribed:
-If you are a blogger reviewer
-How many friends/fans do you have following your reviews
-Have you read this author before
-Have you completed other ARC reviews through this group

Please only request an ARC if you think you can complete reading and posting a review by the target date to be considerate of other advanced copy reviewers also interested in the book title. If you find while reading a book that you could never give more than a low rating, please contact the author and see if an issue can be resolved (maybe technical file issue) - Authors are participating here to generate interest in the books plus ensure no negative surprises after launch. Your help is greatly appreciated!:)

Enrico Antiporda | 1 comments I have a question. My Kindle book was just released (May 2013). Can I still participate? Maybe give a beginning and end date for the review? All Kindle books are updatable so there is really no specific launch date.

Let me know and I'll post 50 copies of A Light in the Cane Fields for review.

Nigel Edwards (wildlegend) | 4 comments Hi Kathy,

Kindle edition on Amazon.com is $6.00, UK Kindle is £3.85. I believe these include VAT following a recent tax ruling.

The paperback price is more than I expected at $17.16 and £11.80 respectively.

In both cases, on the other hand, you do get 466 pages of good reading!

Do take advantage of the 1st June offer on Kindle, and thanks very much for your interest!

Best Wishes,
Nigel Edwards.

Joni Dee | 2 comments Hi all,
I wanted to introduce to the group 'BookGobbler', much like NetGalley allows you to get free books, if you agree to review them. It has been started by a few authors, mostly indie which find it very hard to get reviews.

Unlike NetGalley, it is free for authors, so small publishers and indie authors get the same chance to be seen (NetGalley costs a small fortune for a week listing with zero proomotion). But the extra bit is that we also raffle paperbacks, much like Goodreads.

Since we are running this for free, it would really mean the world to us if you wouldn't mind to give it a go:
https://bookgobbler.com and maybe share with other members.

Many thanks for the time

Lynda Filler | 4 comments Hi, I would love reviews on Lie to Me: an exposé on sex for money
It's relatively new genre for me in the sense it is definitely
1- Contemporary Romance with a twist.
2-I have PDF, ePub Mobi copies available and no limit for reviews
3-This is how the first reviewer summarized the story:
"insanely captivating, entertaining and exciting. It's a spellbinding story that explores the psychology of sex in a way that defies Coelho’s Eleven Minutes." R. Dzemo 5 STARS Readers'' Favorite Book Reviews
From a “powerful and unforgettable” author, and winner of the Best in Contemporary Fiction 2017 BTRC for Target in the Sun, comes another powerful fictional story, Lie to Me, an exposé on sex for money.

How many lives have been ruined for the pleasure of an orgasm? Forty-something Layla Duncan, a women’s magazine writer, has a dangerous obsession with men who sell steamy sexual encounters to vacationing women in Puerto Vallarta. She infiltrates the underworld of male prostitution, interviews several men and begins to write a mesmerizing exposé of their lives.

If you are curious, I would love your support. Msg me here or on FB. Thanks so much.

Thanks. I have a few other questions.

Is this story in first- or third-person?

Are the POV's of both MCs used?

How old are the MCs?

Is this a RomCom? If not, which sub-genre is it in?

Is the sex steamy, explicit, erotica, fade to black, non-existent?

How long is the story?

Is the story completed in this one book?

message 26: by Victoria (new)

Victoria (victoriadanes) | 3 comments Wow 🙂

Yes the story is complete in this one book. It is third person, the MC’s are in their twenties. It is sexy steamy and would fall under historical romance. It is roughly 380 pages. I hoped I answered all the questions for you.

Unexpected secrets stand to change two witches’ lives forever...

Having narrowly survived their last semester, Natalie King and Alexandra Aurelius are prepared to revel in victory...but junior year is promising to be anything but peaceful!

With her mother in prison, Alex struggles against enemy attacks from her own family. Finding solace in Nat’s support and the arms of her new girlfriend, Rachel, Alex pushes through the pain as best she can; but darkness is creeping in from every direction, and even the fiercest of friendships can fall victim to dark influences.

As the two witches cautiously navigate their renewed friendship and new relationships, shadowy souls push their way into Nat and Alex’s lives. Now, more than ever, the witches must stick together and protect their loved ones.

But as human and supernatural government relations are stretched to breaking point, a very personal bombshell is about to shatter Alex’s world forever.

Can she rely on Nat to see her through again?

Or will even their united powers prove too weak for the forces that are determined to destroy them?

In the much-anticipated sequel to Strange Things Await, Jamila A. Stone delivers devilish thrills and a dizzying spin on contemporary fantasy writing. One thing is clear: where mystic and mortal subcultures meld, the pages turn themselves.

Illuminated: The Fall of Terra

Terra. An ancient and nearly perfect world where love and peace reign, and where everyone has a divine Calling that serves the All. If anyone experiences negative thoughts or emotions, the goddess, Alma, will sense their disharmony and guide them out of pain into love.

It’s nearly time for Mylo’s Calling Day but he has no idea what his Calling may be, and without it, he is lost.

Can Alma help him find his true path without revealing a terrible secret? Can she resist falling in love with the empowered and emboldened version of Mylo she helped create through their union? And can she trust him to protect the crystal Scriptures that hold the true history of Terra and the Knowing of the All?

Who will be the Carriers of Light?
Because the Darkness is coming, and soon.

“This is a modern retelling of Paradise Lost, with the epic downfall of man and the exodus from the garden, but Gabriel’s tale is not rooted in Original Sin, but in Original Separation. Her story is a human prehistory that feels achingly and intuitively familiar, filled with the wisdom of those who have always lived on society’s margins and who seek collaboration, not power.

I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait to read the next one!”

Mattia Lorenzo Zonno (mattiazonnoauthor) | 2 comments Hello fellows,

I trust this message finds you well.

I am reaching out to this community seeking guidance on a matter of great importance to me as an independent author.

My recently published book has garnered around 170 positive reviews, particularly from Advance Reader Copies (ARCs), on platforms such as Amazon and Goodreads.

While the reception has been heartening, I find myself facing the challenge of effective marketing. In an effort to boost visibility, I have implemented a strategy of reaching out to my TikTok followers.

Specifically, I have engaged with those who possess Kindle Unlimited subscriptions by providing them access to the book through a video plot of the novel and I asked readers to share their experience through simple, faceless videos showcasing the book cover with a "currently reading" caption, aiming to boost the visibility of the book's hashtag.

However, I now find myself at a crossroads. I can't sustain this approach indefinitely as it is very time-consuming and hinders my ability to focus on writing the sequels.
In light of this, I've explored alternative avenues and even reached out to publishing houses with the intention of republishing the book, as marketing is not my forte.

If any of you have experience or recommendations on effective indie author marketing, or if you have insights into approaching publishing houses, I would greatly appreciate your valuable input.
I am particularly interested in understanding how to leverage social media and other channels to broaden the reach of my book and connect with a wider audience.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to learning from your experiences and receiving any suggestions you may have.

Mattia Lorenzo Zonno (mattiazonnoauthor) | 2 comments Hello guys!

I'm reaching out because I'm on the lookout for some avid readers who might be interested in delving into my recently published book. While the book is already out in the world, I find myself in need of more reviews to help spread the word.

If you enjoy exploring new stories and wouldn't mind giving my book a read, I would be delighted to provide you with a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Your feedback means a lot to me, and it's incredibly valuable as I continue to grow as an author.

If this is still a possibility for you, please drop a comment or send me a message. Your support is greatly appreciated, and I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the book!

Thank you in advance, and happy reading!

April Tompkins Hi, I have a women's fiction novella to be published on February 19, 2024 and I would really appreciate finding ARC readers for it. Since it's a novella, it's a quick read.

Lies and Love

Drea hoped to only see her tiny tourist town in her rear view mirror, but now she’s back to take over the family store. Grandpa insisted and no one says no to Grandpa. When a newcomer arrives in town, Drea is immediately smitten. She knows her old high school friend has a crush on her, but she only has eyes for the mysterious stranger. Just one problem – he’s a bit too mysterious.

Lies and Love - women's fiction novella
book will launch 2/19/24
I have as many copies available as readers : )
ePub/mobi/PDF

Caitlin | 2 comments Tranquila: A Doctor-Mom Attempts the Slow Life in Spain

Hi everyone!

I'm Caitlin, and I’m working with an upcoming author, Amy Breen, to help get the word out about her book, Tranquila, a humorous and personal family journey full of mishaps, adventure, and mental health struggles as the author transitions from a handle-it-all doctor and mother in the States to full-time expat parent living in Barcelona.

We’re currently looking for ARC readers who would love to provide reviews for the book if they have the capacity to do so.

If you can't read it we would also really appreciate you saving it as 'Want to Read' on your account.

Thank you!!
