Rough gist of it is two girls are hired to find a missing man. During their search they encounter hints of their past.
I wrote this in 2004 (I think) and put it away for years. ~~IDK damn that's going to bother me. When did I write this? (Trying to go through the shelves of my memory warehouse) Yes, it was 2004. I just had my daughter and son just started preschool. ~~
Anyway, during the time it was put up. I didn't think about it. Those little bastards in my head weren't yelling at me. So it for all intense purposes was put on the shelve.
In 2011 when our house was finished with the renovations and we were moving our stuff in. I found it on an old CD. I read it and was just disgusted on the errors and the plot holes, but I still liked the characters. I tried to edit and change a bit on my own. (For those that have done this you know the frustration this brings.) I finally just said forget it and gave it to a few friends and my parents to look it over. I told them go through it with a red pen. Change the blatant spelling and grammar errors. Leave notes on the parts that you wish were ‘fluffed’ up more.
When I got the copies back, I changed the master document and sent it off to an editor. Within a few months of going back and forth, I eventually had it published early last year.
*Note: I am still not happy with the end result of this book. I feel like it needs more. I guess that's why it has become a series.

I wrote this literally, after I had found Fire Child and sent it off to the editor. It took three weeks to complete a rough draft. The amount of research alone took a week. Yes, I do research. The world that I created is based on three cultures and their mythology. Celtic for my winged Spritlings, Nordic for my Lycaneons and very very loosely based Middle Eastern culture for my Djinn.
If I wanted to, I could write a history book for my world of Lumenessa due to the amount of research and back-stories.

One, I have named Hunted (I know that will eventually change) is about a young girl who is forced to live with her Grandparents. Her mother drops her off and leaves. During her stay, she finds out that her grandparents are not who they claim to be. *Note this has been placed on the back burner for now. It also has a few characters based off Richard, Lynx and Falls in it.
Another in the works is my serial killer novel. Set in a small town, it has a killer who preys on those breaking the 10 commandments. A local sheriff finds the pattern but cannot find the suspect. (Currently doing a butt load of research into police procedure and religious nuts.)
I also have the third book in my Lumenessa Saga plotted out. I have yet to start writing on it.
The one that has captured my attention and am working on now is a cheesy YA. *This one has characters very loosely based on Nate, Brandon and Taylor.

LOL. No. He is the class president who thinks he knows more than the teachers. (Most of the time he does.)

The character based on Falls (who I named Sadie)is an average everyday girl who befriends the main character, Emily. Sadie helps Em adjust to her new environment and helps her uncover the truth about her grandparents and why she was sent to live with them.

I never said he was popular. XD Just a know it all.

I swear T these characters are not doing anything I tell them. I have outlined the book 6 times. And they still go off on their own direction. You character Mark is just kind of sitting in the shadows for now. (I am almost 3/4 done.) So he might jump out toward the end.

The worst is when one of your main characters informs you that you're going to kill them off. And then that perfect happy ending you've made for them? Yep. Good luck trying to write it when they've decided they're going to die.

Yes that drives me insane! One reason why I have not written anymore on my Lumenessa Books. I'm not going to until they start behaving.

LOL. It's loosely based. Like a few mischievous quirks.

gtk btw whatever happen to the pic you were working on?
sorry I'm slightly hyper and in a weird mood tonight

I'm still working on it. I tend to be a bit ADD. It will get finished soon I hope. maybe. I dunno. eventually? yeah I'll go with eventually.

Now have to go through edit, rewrite, edit again, another rewrite and then it'll be out of my hands. XD

I really do not write for an audience in mind. I write because I have a story to tell. I have these little personalities screaming at me to write what they are saying.
I have multiple projects in the works at the moment. Some fantasy, some mystery and a few YA tossed in the mix. I do gather inspiration from those online and in real life. (Sorry T, Falls, Nate and Richard but you guys are in my books in some way shape of form.)
