2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

Here's the book I've chosen for my "scary" book. I don't know much about the author, but I've seen this one pop up a few times on my friends feed recently and it looks intriguing.

Well, this book claimed to be in the horror genre, but I didn't find it to be particularly scary to read... though I'll admit that it would have been horrifying to be the main character! Though she seemed much calmer about it than I think I would have, but perhaps some of that was the training and conditioning she was put through beforehand.

I liked it, and once I started reading I couldn't put it down even though I didn't fully understand what was going on. I'm officially sucked in though and will have to read the other two books in the trilogy!
