Challenge #4 - The Longest Chain

OK - I haven't had time to read all the posts on all the threads, but here goes trying to answer a few of the questions I've seen so far.
Timing of the challenge. We have many time zones going. So, lets go with each person works in their own time zone. This challenge starts on the 28th so any books you complete in your time zone between 12:01 a.m. on the 28th and midnight June 3rd will count towards the challenge. That way it will be fair to everyone in the challenge.
One chain only. We are not building multiple chains in this event.
.5 books. Hmmmmm. Hadn't intended for those. All books would have to meet the minimum page length though. Let me think on that a minute.

And,
The books don't have t be read in order. Everyone just puts their books together and makes one chain trying to get as many consecutive numbers as possible.
So, whatever books you have completed as a team by midnight on the 3rd of June can be used - no matter what order they were read in.

Alright - .5's are ok as long as they meet page requirements.

Thanks Penni!

Does this include other .#'s? Just making sure before I start something.
Ex: Lone Wolf is listed as #4.6 on GR but it's #4.5 on audible. I think I have a couple of others listed as random .#'s too.

Just curious, but in the event that more then one #1, #2 or #6 is read by team members can those be added to the chain as well? Or can only 1 book be counted per number? I hope this makes sence :)
I'm just trying to figure out what kind of points to award to any double numbers that come up, do they still count towards the mini even if we can't use them?

Only one book per number counts to the chain, and only one book per number can be counted to the mini challenge score :-)

This week, we will be seeing how long of a book series chain each team can build.
The object is to build one chain, using the series number of the books read, to build the longest contiguous chain possible. You can start at 1 or any other number, but for the books in the chain to count, the numbers must be contiguous, none skipped.
Scoring:
10 pts for each qualifying book in the series chain
Additional points will be awarded to teams based on who has the longest chains.
1st place - 150 pts
2nd place - 100 pts
3rd place - 75 pts
4th place - 50 pts
5th place - 25 pts
In case of a tie, the bonus points will be added together for the tied levels and divided evenly among the tied teams.
Example:
60 pts for series chain and bonus points based on chain length from longest to shortest.
Post your chain in the mini challenge section assigned to your pantheon.
Mini Challenge #4 Dates: 5/28-6/3
