Liz M 20.10 - Elizabeth (Alaska) task - Initially:
Read a book by an author all of whose given names are usually published as initials. Examples: V.S. Naipaul, T.C. Boyle, T.S. Eliot.

Bea I have been trying to read Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence for awhile now. This seems to be the perfect place to slot it in.

Jayme(theghostreader) (jaymetheghostreader) | 2594 comments Would it count if the author's name had a full name and then an inital like Raymond E. Fiest? Or George R.R. Martin?

Sorry, Jayme, all initials and then the surname. The only exception is when the author's entire name is usually seen as initials, no surname.

Ah, so H.D. is acceptable.

Yes, and she's the only one I can think of, but I suspect there are others.

Kazen | 623 comments Is it okay if the name is a pen name? I'm thinking of J.D. Robb, aka Nora Roberts.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments Yes, J.D. Robb works.

Thanks, Liz. I found several authors I either hadn't thought of or hadn't heard of.

I'm going to say no to this one, as N.T. Wright is the editor, not an author.
