Ridgeport Preparatory Academy discussion

These are the specific majors you can specialize in here at Ridgeport. If you wish something to be added to this list, see the questions/suggestions thread. Keep in mind, this is still a school, and all students still take regular core classes in addition to their decided curriculum.

It should be known that most students do not select their majors until their Sophomore, or more commonly, Junior year. Younger students take a larger variety of classes that deal with all departments to help decide.

All students have an "Enrichment" class in their schedule, which rotates between the four majors this school offers on a two week basis. In simpler terms, this means all students participate in every major, confirming facilitation of all skills offered by Ridgeport, honing well rounded students with a variety of skills.

Because of Enrichment, it is encouraged of Ridgeport's students to participate in activities outside of their major -- meaning sports teams, academic clubs, social clubs, and theater programs, etc. are open to all students... though admittance into such things are solely dependent on qualifications and time management. AKA it's rare for students to want to do anything outside of their major, because by time Junior and Senior year rolls around, they are neck-deep in their own major, let alone an additional one. Priorities.
