Well in Michigan you need your own ID if you're eighteen and want to do anything fun
Like buy fireworks of cigarettes or a lottery ticket
Or go clubbing
Get a tattoo
Stay in a bar after hours
All things I haven't been able to do, even though I'm eighteen, because I lack the proper form of ID

I did get a guy to agree to tattoo me though with my birth certificate and my college ID hahahaha
