This book shouldn't take too long to read. It's only 243 pages and fewer lines on each page than we're used to. After Bryson's time-consuming tome, this should only take a few days to read. So if you're weren't lucky enough to get one of the copies at the library, just wait a week or so and check back.

Linda | 190 comments I was completely swept away by the story and read it in two days, which is unusual for me. It's a fast read!

Gee whiz, I didn't realize this book would haunt me no matter where I am (even at the Ahmanson during a play!) until I finished it. I'd have to say I've been swept away too!

Interesting little detour at the end that I didn't see coming! I'm not sure what I think about it either.

Linda | 190 comments I know. The detour disarmed me a bit.
