Melissa Craven We've got several books that are drawing reviewers. If a title sits here too long with no interest, I will replace it with something new.

Authors, since we are just getting started with this group, please help us by inviting readers and reviewers to our group. If you've worked with someone before and they did a great job, invite them. They might not review your book but if we all do this, we'll have all these threads going very soon.
Thanks for your help!
Melissa

message 13: by Bill (new)

Bill Jacks (BillJacks) | 17 comments I think it would be helpful to list the genre next to the title. Most I can figure out, but some are ambiguous.

message 14: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Craven Good point, I will do that.

Please Pass the Books (pleasepassthebooks) I'll read and review Confederate Chipmunks & Carny Cooter. I'm not an author, just a rabid reader. I've emailed Bill.

Please Pass the Books (pleasepassthebooks) Andrew wrote: "I like stuff that isn't genre. Any possibilities?"

Andrew-

If you are looking for genre-bending books you might like The Rings of Saturn. It isn't indie but you do have to be comfortable with unconventional writing structure and atypical book construction to appreciate it.

On the indie front, you might like the New York Stories, short stories by Terence Clarke. Everyone in L.A. New York Stories is a favorite of mine.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks for these.

The Rings of Saturn is on the list. It's the middle of the list, but it's there!

I will look for Terence Clarke.

message 22: by Melissa (new)

Melissa Craven Hi Everyone,
I've streamlined the list and added some new titles.
Author's if you see your book has been removed, please forgive me but we need to keep the list fresh. If your book is not grabbing the attention of readers, I will remove it. If you can bring in potential reviewers for your book, I will put you back on.
Also, if you have more than one book, I will only add one book at a time. when that has received four reviews, I will add your next book.
Thanks everyone!
Melissa

Excellent choice and welcome to the group! if you haven't already, message Amie for a copy of the book and when you have your review completed, post a link to it in the thread for that book. And private message me with your confidential ratings on the following criteria:

Overall impression of the book (plot)
Writing style (professional and well developed)
Editing (polished and cohesive)
Character development (well rounded characters)
Cover design (Come on, we totally judge books by the cover!)
