HI guys!! So we're back to reading some more of the wonderful Erikson after our brief Esslemont interlude. I hope you guys all enjoyed the chance to catch up a little if you were behind and also to experience the different style of Esslemont's approach, but I also hope that you're excited to get back to this series much like I am!
This series is one which I didn't realise quite how much I would grow to love and enjoy when I began it, but actually it's been great fun and I have loved the last two books. I cannot wait to reconnect with some of the characters we've seen before and probably meet new ones. However, with that said this is a LONG book guys (my edition is over 1,200 pgs) so wish us all luck to motivate one another on and hopefully it'll be great!!

I'd love to hear what you guys are looking forward to next and how you've enjoyed the series so far! Thank you all for sticking with me and inspiring me to get through this monster series :)

Midnight Tides I loved :) But the last 3 have been great :)

Evan | 67 comments I think Midnight Tides is objectively the best one. That book is just airtight. My personal favorite is Memories of Ice for a bunch of random reasons. My sleeper hit of the series though is Reaper's Gale which is after The Bonehunters. It's one that I think back on maybe more regularly than the others. There are some stellar moments in it.

message 5: by TS (new) - rated it 5 stars

TS Chan (tschan) | 159 comments My favourite so far is Memories of Ice, but I am looking forward to The Bonehunters which many fans so far rate as one of their favourites.

I have a feeling I'll be pretty late starting on this for July though. Have another BR for Tower Lord and Queen of Fire (when it's released) and there's Tour de France starting tomorrow which will eat into my reading time at night. Coupled with heightened work and training commitments, I suspect my reading pace will slow down a fair bit for July.
