This is the thread for Chapter 8 & 9 of The Bonehunters. I hope you're all enjoying it so far!

Just under halfway, what would you say has interested you the most so far?
Can you tell where this might be leading yet?
Any idea about who you think will die/survive this book/series?

Even though he's only appeared recently, Ganoes Paran is the one I am most interested in now. I love how he has acknowledged his role as Master of the Deck and taking on his new-found powers. The scene where he called up the dead from the new sea of Raraku is pretty awesome!

Icarium seemingly having lost his memory about Mappo as his friend is very very sad!! :(

Iskaral Pust, his mule and Mogora - absolutely hilarious! And it also seems that Pust is really powerful to be able to drive away Dejim like that.

And nope, I still have no clue what to expect from the rest of the book...

I totally forgot to mention Icarium's memory loss in my later message but I agree! That made me SO sad :'( I hope he remembers soon or they meet up again!
