i'm looking forward to reading this one, but i won't start it until the end of september - my f2f book club is reading it for our october read- along with to kill a mockingbird. if i read it now, i'll never remember anything about it by then..lol

Can someone remind me whether this book was authorized for publishing by Harper Lee? I'm afraid to go searching for background in case I stumble across plot points for the book.

Next year we are looking at Nova Scottia in Canada, or Tennessee-Arkansas. I am thinking the southern choice would be the better one, if I can get away from work.

Barry, glad you enjoyed your road trip. I sure miss those days. You did exactly the type of trip I used to take, local mom and pop places, meeting other people and just enjoying the wind in your face without a roof or doors.

It is a very popular book at my library and I am hoping I can snag a hardback copy from the Lucky Day shelf. So what do you think, will we all love it? The sophomore book is always a question.... though we usually don't wait so long. To Kill a Mockingbird was first published in 1960
