What's that supposed to be around the being's neck?

I guess they put something around the neck to hide the damage caused due to the head falling off while they shifted the body !!!!!! The spaceship where she was found is very, very ancient. So the body must be correspondingly old. The lack of info on the Internet is frustrating. But there are some good YTube vids that are still around.

Okay, but the key thing from my perspective would be whether it's real or not?
Do you think it's real and not a fake? And if so, what makes you think that?

I can only find supposedly authentic NASA images of the spaceship where she was found. The ones taken by the previous Apollo mission flyby. As for the rest... your guess is as good as mine... she could be real... I wonder what her story is !

This is probably a bad taste joke, but when I saw that photo first thing I thought of Michael Jackson post one of his numerous cosmetic surgery procedures.

But seriously, like you I just think I'd be guessing to even comment on such things as this photo. With modern film/photo technology it's virtually impossible these days to know what's real and what's fake.

However, that doesn't mean we should just dismiss things because they cannot be verified one way or another...

Since you raised the crux of the issue ... if this image is given to an expert with access to a state-of-the-art lab, couldn't he or she be able to tell the difference ? Special FX, however state-of-the-art, can't fool an intensive lab analysis or can it ? If the latter, then forensic evidence in the form of images and/or videos can no longer be relied upon in a court of law !

People keep spotting all kinds of objects on NASA's live feeds and they often report the feeds cut out temporarily whenever such objects are seen. So it's hard to know what to make of it all.

Guess it's a case of more evidence, but still no smoking gun?
