Books for Trading! discussion

I will be making TWO topics in this folder.
One will have a list of people who are known to be reputable traders.
One will have a list of people who are known to NOT be reputable traders.

I ask that you please make a comment on one/both of the topics after you have completed a trade, so that I can update the list and there will be no issues with people lying or misbehaving.

Please do NOT make a new topic in this folder.

One thing I want to mention is even though USPS says a tracking # is active the minute the postage label is printed, IT IS NOT! I almost accused someone of lying because the # didn't register until the postal carrier picked it up and scanned it into the system two days later.

Also, if you are trading with someone who has no blog, or hasn't any trade references, you can always give them the option of sending their book after you have received yours. :)

I have a quick question. Has anyone traded with Erin (twitter handle Erin @The Book Nut) I traded with her back on 6/16 and I was told that she was going to mail off the traded book by that Saturday. There was a miscommunication and she actually was mailing it off on 6/27. It is now 7/6 and I still have not received my book that I traded for. I have been in contact with her about it and she told me she put bookmarks in with the trade because of confusion, but I'm still concerned that I have been outed a book that I traded for. If anyone has traded with her and has had a positive or negative experience, I would love to know.

I haven't traded, but I have won two of her giveaways and have gotten everything she offered, plus extra goodies both times. Ask her for the tracking # because even media mail comes with a tracking # now. Did she get your half of the trade?

Plus if she mailed it Media Mail it is slow and there were no post days on the 3rd and 4th because of the holiday.

I`ve traded with Erin twice now. She is great and stays in communication.

Oh man. My post office scans them at intake to activate them right away.

It looks likes she's mailing out at the end of the week or after her vacation. Shoot her a DM. I talk to her a lot, and she's really nice.

Is there a way that we can create a folder that's just for people to ask about others, instead of clogging up the good and bad trader folders?
