The Art of Fielding
question
What would you sacrifice to further your passion?

To pursue writing, to shape the thoughts running rampant in my head, I'd give up time, social engagements, and, oh yeah, SANITY. :) I love the feeling of finding a way to say just exactly what I mean (on the rare moments when the "in my head" planet and "here I am" planet align) and would give up sleep, peace of mind, and even social adventure just to see it through.

i think if you are that passionate about something - then there is nothing that you wouldn't sacrifice to further/be successful - look at amateur athletes who complete in races for the love of it - many of them sacrifice up to 20-30 hours a week for training, on top of jobs/family committments
In general I'd say something like short term gratification and possibly sanity or happiness. But then again the idea of sacrifice is interesting, and not pursuing a passion also has an aspect of sacrifice.
