Please list any value books that you find that you think might be interesting to the group. We may select from this list for future book picks but it is primarily to help others find good cheap books.

Basic guidelines:

-Under $10 unless it is just an extremely good value for the price.
(Ex. Calvin's Commentaries for $50 in Hardback)

-List book type, price and where to get it.
(EX. E-Book/Free/Link to Amazon or PB/$4.99/Link to CBD)

-Basic overview of the book (Can include personal review but a publisher description would be fine)

------------------------------------------------

-Holy Bible: English Standard Version, ESV (Kindle/Free/http://amzn.to/XTmBM1)
-Foxe's Book of Martyrs (Kindle/Free/http://amzn.to/XTrg0D)
-Intro to Reformed Theology: A Calvinist ... (ebook/$6.99/http://bit.ly/Xc7cZ7)

Thanks!

This edition includes cross-references within the text.

Fox's Book of Martyrs

(Kindle/Free/http://amzn.to/XTrg0D)

Overview:

Foxe's Book of Martyrs has been an invaluable addition to the libraries of faithful Christians for almost five centuries. Chronicling the suffering and brutal deaths of those who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, John Foxe captured the God-given, Spirit-inspired courage of these noble souls. Though sometimes difficult to read because of the inhumane cruelty depicted in its pages, the images which truly endure are those of the victorious faithfulness, by the grace of God, of these heroes of the faith. Why read this book? The stories within these pages are not only supremely inspiring but also educational as to the identity, character, and modus operandi of an apostate, false church. We have benefited immeasurably from the wonderful witness of these martyred saints, which not only helped many of our predecessors accept Christ, but also helped the true church to be stronger and purer.

what looks like a copy of Calvin's Institutes also popped up at $0.99, although I'm a bit unsure about it as it says it's only 272 pages: http://www.amazon.com/Institutes-Chri...
the hardcover version of this edition looks legit though, so maybe it's just a data entry issue
