I have noticed that some of you are pairing up to read books together so I thought I would open a buddy read section. Post the book or books that you want to read and search for other members of the group that would like to read it with you. Post your threads in the BUDDY READ folder always! Remember to open the thread at least 2-3 days before the reading starts so others can join in if they desire! Make sure you include the following information when you create a buddy read thread:

- Title of the book
- Name of the author
- Start date

Example: If I Lie by Corrine Jackson → Start date: November 9th, 2012

You can discuss the book in the topic that you create!
Happy Reading! Hope you find buddies to read with!

I finished The Running Man on the weekend - I loved it! It is probably my favourite read so far this year. Will be looking forward to hearing what you think of it Aditya.

I just finished Roadwork which was one of the weaker Kings & so i hope The Running Man is as good as his usual fare.

message 49: by Squire (new)

Squire (srboone) | 92 comments Aditya, were you able to get a copy of Rage? It's OOP and not available on an ereader (I think); only available on the secondary market. I thought it was the best of his "Bachman" books--with The Long Walk a close second.

I got Rage as an ebook & have read it though i felt it was one of King's weaker effort along with Roadwork. But i agree The Long Walk was the best Bachman book i have read so far, it could almost rival any other top book King has written under his own name.
