I am officially opening my blog to some paid advertising spots. There will be two top banner ads ($25/month) 2 sidebar ads ($8/month) and a bottom banner ad ($15/month). Payment will be accepted in the form of Amazon gift cards.

General info: The blog is now averaging over 200 visits per day and had 7900 hits last month.

If interested send an email to ads.indiebookblog@gmail.com and we can get things scheduled.

B. Throwsnaill (bthrowsnaill) | 208 comments Scott ran my ad for Hemlock and the Wizard Tower on his blog. While I don't have any concrete stats, I am *firmly* convinced that this was instrumental in the popularity of the book, and contributed to thousands of (free) downloads. I *strongly* recommend trying it.

Sounds good. Once I have a firmer idea of when Journey to Altmortis will be ready I may well get in touch :)

Thanks for the best wishes Camille and thanks for the positive endorsement B.

Look forward to hearing from you when you get stuff figured out Thaddeus.

Still have the bottom and side bar banners available for March if anyone is still debating it.

Steve Thomas | 198 comments I may have to snag one of those.

J.D. Hallowell | 247 comments I can't necessarily attribute it to Scott's blog, but I have continued to have great sales the whole time I have had the top banner ad. I'm not eager to stop advertising there.

Still have openings for April for anyone considering doing the advertising. Also offering a discount on the bottom banner for the rest of March $8 will get you the rest of this month.

Top banners are still booked for a while, but there are bottom and side slots open.

Did I miss my shot at re-upping? Things have been insane at my house. I keep hoping that I'll have the top banner when the Dragon Fate review goes up...

M.R. Jenks (mjenks6) | 74 comments Scott, I would be interested, but do you think the sidebars get more visibility than the bottom banner, or vice versa?

I understand the insane thing for sure. I just started a new job and have been having to rework my schedule quite a bit. I think the top spot is booked until Septemberish. I can use the banner as a part of the review if you would like me to do that J.D.

M.R. wrote: "Scott, I would be interested, but do you think the sidebars get more visibility than the bottom banner, or vice versa?"

Honestly probably the sidebars have better visibility. I was just thinking of switching the price points up on them to reflect that fact. Luckily for you I've been too lazy to make any changes on my page lol.

J.D. Hallowell | 247 comments You don't have to change what you usually do for reviews for mine, Scott. If you usually just include the book cover, that is fine, although I certainly won't complain if you do use the banner, too.

J.H. Sked (jhsked) | 115 comments Hey Scott - are you still running the ads?

Please don't self promote here. Use the "Self Promotion" page....Oh, wait. Right. You can't promote their, either!
Nevermind!

You are welcome to self promote in the appropriate spot while following the rules. There is no reason to have the top 5 threads in the self promo section by a single author trying to spam their name. I'm sorry you don't like the way this group is run, but the rules are not difficult to follow. It's not much to ask to have people respect each other. I was in no way rude when I responded to your post alerting you that we didn't allow posts that are copied and pasted in multiple other groups and to please limit yourself to a single post per book in the self promo section.
