This is another fun game I've seen others play.

This is how it's played: Think if a character and give three hints (fairly indicative ones, not too broad) to the rest of the players. If you think you know which character the person is thinking of, then reply with, "You're thinking of _______!" Pretty easy!

For example:
1.) I have a peculiar scar.
2.) I am an orphan
3.) Someone attempted to kill me as a baby.

Another person answers, "You're thinking of Harry Potter!"

Note that the clues weren't too vague. Instead, they're known facts concerning the character.

More rules: Try to think of main characters, since there's a chance the person trying to guess your character might not have read the book and might be trying to research it the old-fashioned way, lol.

More than one person can make a guess at what the person is thinking of, but only have one "game" running at one time. IE, don't come up with a new character until the previous one has been guessed.

If you feel you have everyone sufficiently stumped, you can add more hints at your discretion.

Lastly, if you are the one coming up with the character, be sure to check back frequently to see if someone has guessed correctly. You don't want to be gone a week and hold up the game.

Question: Is the suitcase where they actually live or were you meaning they simply have all their possessions in the suitcase?

The character travels around all the time, so he keeps his possessions in his suitcase.

Not really. You have to try and guess which character the person is thinking of based on the three hints they gave you.

Sometimes, if you don't know the answer to the riddle, you can view the books the person has read and figure out who they're talking about.

*hint, hint - my riddle is one of my recently read books.* ;)
