The characters are more developed in this 2nd installment (as they should be; love Vincent and the whole idea of the Revenants. I am glad they finally got things going in the romance department. It is one of the main story lines and needed to move on.
Love that Georgia (her sister) is more involved in this one and that we get to 'see' more of Paris. Descriptions of the city are so alluring. Ah...I do want to go still--some day!
I love this trilogy. Can't wait for the final one! Since the ending on this was so....aargh!

Huh, well I am both surprised and not at the ending. *SPOILER* I knew Violette wasn't to be trusted. It was so obvious that she was faking her friendship with all the flowers she kept sending. She was trying way too hard. I think we will meet Vincent-body and all in book 3. And of course he came to talk to Kate, how could he not. Okay, really like the story and excited for the conclusion. I want more of Georgia and Charlotte though!

I love both of those characters. I think the girls, Georgia and Kate, are more linked to the Revenants than they let on. The grandparents know more than they are letting on and remember their parents? Their bodies were never discovered following the accident. Yup, Vincent and Kate are connected somehow through the past.
I did like the whole Language of Flowers thing going on--even if Violette was the one doing it.
