Hey gang! I'm seeing a few new discussions popping up, and that's AWESOME. However, our little group is growing, and for the sake of sanity and keeping things from getting messy, I want to take a moment to go over a few things.

I encourage people to post new topics! I love that this is a very active and very vocal group. I love how we're all coming together and making awesome things happen. But since we are getting to be a pretty lively group, we need to make sure we're posting our new topics in the right places.

Noobs: All newbies to the group, welcome! There is a discussion where you can introduce yourself and get to know the other members here. Stop in and say hi, tell us a bit about yourself, answer a random question, ask a random question, it's all just fun. In fact, you'll find it under the folder so aptly named as "The Hang Out." Anything fun, getting to know you, non-work type of questions-this is the place for it! I recommend all new members (or anyone who hasn't checked it out yet) visit The Hang Out and get to know the other members. (Note: This is not the place for promotion, advertising free days, questions about writing/publishing/blogging/etc, or links to your books or websites.)

Bloggers and Authors Connect: Here is where you want to put up your links. There is a topic for Facebook, one for Twitter, one for LinkedIn, a place for bloggers to post their blog links, a place for authors to post their buy links, and a place to advertise your free/free for a day books.

Resources and Links: There is currently one topic in this folder, called Useful Sites. If you have a site or resource that you would recommend to other authors or bloggers, this is the place to post it. You are welcome to start new topics if you feel your resource doesn't quite fit into the Useful Sites, but use common sense. We're all bright people. :)

If you have something to say and you're not sure where to put it, ask yourself whether it's just for fun, or if it pertains to writing or blogging. If it's just fun, it belongs in The Hang Out. If not, it's most likely going to be under Authors and Bloggers Connect. In the From the Admins folder you'll find messages and announcements-like this topic-from either myself or Ian.

Thanks for reading all that. It just helps us all to work together and play together like a happy team without everything getting jumbled and lost among a million posts. If you have any problems or questions about the group, you can always reach out to me in a message. I do respond (it might be a bit of a delay, depending on what I have to do that day) and I welcome any suggestions.

Everybody have fun! Wishing you all the love and insanity your minds can handle. <3
