Everbound question

While I knew there would be some kind of betrayal, Cole is slippery, I didn't think it would be that severe. I kept think omg well done Mrs Ashton you fooled me there. I'm so happy though that Jack is back I was so hung up on his size difference I thought for a second that Cole was pretending to be Jack and then wham Cole appeared and the betrayal explained. I look forward to some character development for Jack in the third book he needs a little he is too perfect right now.

I was so shocked when I read the end. I thought everything was fine in the end, until Cole came back. I knew there was a cliffhanger, but when I was reading the part where Jack came back I thought it would have something to do with him. I can't even begin to guess what happened.

And anyone else see the instant character development in Nikki when that happened. one second she was a normal innocent girl then Cole came though her window and told her what he did, then BAM she was instantly jaded.

Totally, I think the third book should be called Everliving because if that ending!!! I was so mad at Cole for what he did, and I can't believe that Nikki is planning to do the unthinkable to the Everneath!!!!

He did her a favor!!!! She's immortal now!!! she can't die1 this si great she should be happy! Just another reason to be with cole! Cole is amazing! Not only did he save her bf from total hell! but he gave her eternal life. Sure jack will eventually die off but atleast Nikki will be alive because of what cole did for her!
She should be happy! I would be happy if i was immortal!!!!!!

For Jack it is easy to love. He's human, he has a heart.
Cole doesn't. and sometimes i think he must be the greatest actor ever, or he must love Nikki.
I seriosly can't come to any other conclusion or find any other explantion because some of the things he does for her, cannot just be motivated to make her queen.
The end was a total shocker!!!

I know, right? That ending. I guess we should have known it was too happy-happy to last... darn you, Cole! I always knew deep down he was really evil, but with all the exposure he got in Everbound I was starting to like him the teeniest of bits. He was still no good for Nikki. Oh my gosh I knoooow....I was suspicious but after a while I just thought he was doing because he really loved her and I was already softening and liking Cole better but what a twist at tbe end. I loved it the book. For me it was totally unpredictable and gave a lot of material to work on the third book. Great book.
