Arthur needs to get his head round the old idea of "the King and Land are one" doesn't he? Culhwch gets it, yet Merlin doesn't seem to care who's King.
Law without justice, Merlin weak (or pretending, remember the cauldron), Mordred needing more than percusive discipline. It's building up into a storm of blood and bad magic I fear.
I want King Mark's head on a pike soon.
Again, I like the way Igraine wants her story of Camelot to be true and will make it so with her translation of Derfel's "true" version of events...we know there will be less vomit in her version (the canonical version now) of the Round Table.
I wonder how the Merlin/Nimue part of the tale will play out. Both "appear" at a low point in their power now.
And Lance has a son: Peredur (who becomes Parcival in the canon). Will he be involved in finding the cauldron again later?
