The BURIED Book Club discussion

Dzanc belongs here due solely to their rEprint series which is bringing McElroy's and Coover's books back into Eprint; and publication of these two fantastic (not really BURIED) writers' forth-coming books. McElroy's Ancient History will also receive a paper printing this summer. And association with these authors means that Dzanc's catalog is one to keep an eye on.

This may be only the ebooks. The only paper printing I expect from Dzanc of Coover is the forthcoming title.

Damn, that is a nice list! That Domini-talking heads book reminds me that a new book of poetry titled after an Eno song.

I really liked Benedict's Dogs of God during my grit lit phase in my 20s.

Benedict published a new collection, Miracle Boy, with Press 53 a couple of years ago.

Coover--Dzanc is publishing a chunk of his backlist in eBook form, has a new novel, The Brunist Day of Wrath (all 1192 pages of it) coming out in September and August 2014 we have a short story collection being published. The novel will be hardcover and eBook. The ssc is most likely paperback and eBook.

There will also be a new McElroy, Cannonball, in June along with the paperback reprint of Ancient History. We're also bringing out a bunch of his backlist in eBook form between now and then.

Thanks for the update, Dan. Much anticipation over here for the new Coovers and McElroys. If you've got a second, I have two quick questions.

Will the Coover short story collection be previously published material or also contain some new stuff? And, at 1192 pages, I have to ask, how many years has Coover been working on Day of Wrath?

Is there any possibility of other McElroy being published in paper by Dzanc, for instance, Ancient History or Women & Men? Or, one I'm quite curious about, his collection of essays, Exponential, currently available only in Italian--any chance for an English edition from Dzanc?

[I'm asking for more when Dzanc is already issuing an excellent stack!] Thanks.
