So I know it's Friday and this is the first Friday without a new video show in a long time. So I dug up this video clip from last year's Dragon*Con of R.A. Salvatore answering a question about whether one of his character's has ever surprised him.

This was shot by the amazing Brit Weisman of Geek and Sundry. I know it's only a minute, BUT you do get to heare more of the awesome Mr. Salvatore AND Veronica is dressed as a demon hunter.

There's more where this came from that I plan to post, and we're also getting the rights back to our episodes, which means we can now post them and make them downloadable and cool stuff like that! SO hopefully we can start doing that with episode 1 of the video show (the one with Scott Sigler) starting next Friday.

Commentary tracks? Would anyone even want that?

Tom, I will be very glad to be able to download some of the video episodes via downcast. I am a relatively new S&L, and haven't had time to go watch all the YouTube episodes. Being able to automatically download them will make it much easier for me to get caught up. Hopefully by then you and Veronica will have a new solution in place and be recording new episodes.

I'm surprised Geek and Sundry doesn't have all their videos available for download in video podcast format. Is this a cost issue? Maybe there's just not that many people like me who prefer to watch videos that way?

Buzz, since YouTube funded the channel, they require an exclusive of one year on all content and YouTube doesn't allow downloads.

So we won't be able to put all the episodes up at once, because of that, but as they become a year old, we get the rights to do whatever we want with them!
