Just figured it out, I ordered the previous two and Amazon UK was saying Magic Shift was a pre-order

But it is because it was released in hard back and mass market paperback isn't done yet

ahhhh, yeah, it came out here a few months ago - I think I listened ot the audiobook in October

I really loved being in Derek's head it and I am very excited to see more. There's just something super funny about everyone making fun of how dark and gloomy he is, when you're in his head.

Yes they are. But Derek is the one telling it.

I enjoy seeing how Julie is growing up.

Is there a hint toward a romance? I always wondered about a romance for Derek.

Some hints, and one big reveal at the end that may or may not support it.

Personally I really liked Julie with someone else from a short.

I'm already almost finished, and there are definitely some hints going on. I like them.

Yeah. I rather like Julie and Derek's sibling love more then romance.

LOL, I liked the sibling possibility, until the last chapter. Then I was hooked.

When this topic was created, I had never even read the KD series. Now it's hard to imagine my life without it. I reread the series about once every other year. Has anyone read the Hidden Legacy series? I reread that every year. I like to kick every new year off with it so I know I'm starting the year off right. LOL

Isn't it crazy that now KD is one of our favorites, of all time? All the discussions we've had, and none in here. This topic is staying.

Yes. All of them!! Ha-ha-ha! The Innkeepers is hands down my favorite. Though I shouldn't pick favorites. They're all really good.

I've only read the first Innkeeper book, but it's on our list to finish this year.

Kate and Curran are my favorites, but I did love Hidden Legacy too.

It was nice to get Ruby Fever! I was so entertained reading their blog and how much they were struggling and over writing it. >_<

I actually haven't read past Nevada and Mads. Is the lead change good?

Yeah!!! It was so funny the books were great quality, but they were done. The publisher took too long to release and had stipulations, and then they just had the hardest time writing each book. Ruby Fever was horrible for them!!! >_<

I enjoyed the change, and I honestly didn't think I would. Man, I need a re-read stat!!!

Though . . . they keep hinting that they have a new project that want to start up now that Hidden Legacy is over. I'm soooooooo excited!

I freaking loved Hugh's book. Even more than Julie's. Annnnnd, I'm excited to read it, but you know me. not quite yet!

I told myself I'd buy just two books this month . . . yeah. Nope. I cracked. I really want a reread before I read Magic Tide's though.

I never really got into Ilona Andrews. I read a couple of Kate Daniels and a couple of Innkeeper .... I vaguely remember giving a less than flattering review to Innkeeper and copping a little flack for it. I can't even remember what I didn't like .... but it's usually a TSTL moment.

I might give them another shot....perhaps see if my tastes have come around to Kate Daniels.

Ilona Andrews sent out an email either yesterday or today stating that Magic Tides and Magic Claims are going to be released in one audio to save readers some money. I can't wait for the narrator to be announced. I'm so excited to read these, but I love this series in audio, so whoever narrates is going to have Renee Raudman's big shoes to fill.
