Dion (skolnick) | 10 comments The ambitious goal for April is to read the first three parts of the new Dawn of the Aspects series.

I am making my way through part #1 and immediately appreciate Knaak's maturity with the WoW universe. This is not to say that the earlier novels on the Warcraft lacked vision or writing skill, but over the years WoW has established proven lore that allows for his solid writing approach. As always, he shines when it comes to dragons...

Being a player who has not pieced together *much* lore knowledge over the years, it was a helpful refresher for me to read the part #1 summary of exactly where the dragon aspects stand today... facts, history, the reasons certain game events happened, etc.

I look forward to learning more about the earliest days of Azeroth's dragons.

I started reading last night in bed. Why do I do that? I got sleepy and didn't get far. I do agree, Skolnick; I like the little nuggets of lore history Knaak gives in the opening chapter. It helps tie the universe together and gives the reader a quick orientation as to where the Apects stand.

Deacon (Deacon_binder) | 9 comments He does have a lot to lay out in a short amount of time, for a reader who is not already engulfed in this universe. But he does it well. I need to see if pt three is up, I read the last 2 parts the day they came out.

Scott Kostohryz | 2 comments Each section is such a good read and I'm always a little dissapointed when I've made it to the end of each part. I just want to keep reading and find out more about the past of the aspects and how they came to be. Part three just came out a couple of days ago and I just couldn't put it down once I started. Part three surprised me when a character from Warcraft lore showed up that I have always wanted to know more about. I look forward to hearing discussion on these three parts and prehaps participating in discusion on them.

Boyya | 7 comments I have to admit, I could not put part 1 down, it took just two sittings to finish it. What's funny is his writing of this is so visual and its the complete opposite of "War of the Ancients". I had to force myself to finish that, but this one, I am welcoming part 2. Trying to pace myself because I was also reading another book and I wanted to finish that first.
