I always read everything I was supposed to in school so I picked something I've never read from one of the lists of commonly read books.

It's a great classic, but really not for everyone.
I've got this book listed for week 50: a banned book. Honestly it was better than I thought it was going to be, but I enjoyed the Disney classic far better (probably just because I am so familiar with it).
I was not a big fan! It was rather silly and the Disney version was better :) I never say that a movie/TV version of anything is better so that's quite a statement.

I love this book; it's one of my all-time favorites. I first read it when I was in primary school and fell in love with everything Alice. I know the book is a bit out there, and I'm certain that if I read it today for the first time, I wouldn't like it as much. I think the Disney movie is lovely and that they did a great job creating wonderland.
