Liza So I'm reading book 4 and I don't seem to get the whole Outcasts concept, because Outcasts were essentially the ones in book 3 who couldn't choose a side fast enough thus they are shunned by heaven and hell for all eternity...and blinded in the process.

So, why isn't Daniel an Outcast. He essentially didn't choose a side. He chose Luce, thus rejecting heaven and hell making him prime Outcast material. Did I just forget something from book 3? Unfortunately I can't find my copy of book 3 so it's hard to remember what distinguished him from the other Outcasts as it seems to me he did the same thing.

Siobhan The outcasts couldn't pick between God and Lucifer, but Daniel made a different choice. I'm sorry, but to explain it fully it would require spoilers.

Liza Quick yes or no question. It will make more sense in book four, right?

Russelle Anne I'll try to explain what is the difference between the outcasts and Daniel himself. In book 2, it was explained that Daniel is one of the highest ranked angels in heaven and is one who can tip the scales of heaven and hell. Outcasts are just angels who have a small role in heaven and was shunned and doesn't have any effect on the scale. I will not explain furthur because I might spoil Book 4. Have a happy reading. :)

Brittney I haven't read book 4 so no spoilers, but the way i see it... Daniel would have chosen God, and God, of course, already knew that. Of course I don't know for sure because I haven't read Rapture.

Yes. I went from 'God, Daniel's distant' to 'Awwwh, Luce is so lucky, Daniel loves her so much'.

Alexandra Hale It will make more sense after you finish the book

I totally agree. :D

Nusrat Mahiuddin don't read this book it's so shallow and confusing

Not really.

Nurlely Daniel was an important angel, while those outcasts were ordinary angels, who played less important part than Daniel. Roland also didn't make his choice quick enough, but he was not one of the outcasts, so he might be one of important angels too, although not as important as the angel who can tip the balance.

Shruthi Daniel, who used his wisdom words made the outcasts come to his side
