Well, you have to go to school until you are 16, I think that is a reasonable age to allow a student to drop out, considering most students finish school around 17 or 18 years old...

No...if it was required, then it would be less "special" to have a post-secondary degree and therefore, there would be even MORE requirements to get a decent job. Plus, some people just aren't meant for college.

I just mean that some people don't want to do it or don't feel as if they need it.

Well, one person might rather go into the military, and one person whose family, say, owned a business that the person was expected to take over might not feel the need. I'm not endorsing not going to college (planning on going myself), but I'm just saying that some people might not want to.

Maddison (Brainyboots) | 463 comments 18 is personally what I think. At 16 you do not have the maturity to make a decision that will affect their future (well at least most). Because your high school education makes sure that you could get a good job or at the least in to a good college . and lets face it at 16 your mind is not on the future it is on other things so yeah that is just what I think
