Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9484 comments In my quest to find another group to join on Goodreads, I started browsing the list of groups. I thought it would be fun for people to list interesting ones if they come across any.

The one I found that caused me to create this book was "50 Books a Year." This is for people who want to challenge themselves to read 50 books in a year. They each create a post for themselves (posts are organized by first letter of first name) and come back and add a post whenever they finish a book.

I wonder if I will find one called "17 books per stack.*" (snicker)

_____
*reference to Jan O'Cat, who inexplicably insists on stacking her books at home in piles of 17.

Great idea, Carol! I'll get right on it!

Jan O'Cat, who has explicded her stacks of 17 many, many times and Carol has obviously not been listening.

Listening, but for a better explanation of how you "explicded" something.

Carol/Bonadie (bonadie) | 9484 comments I was looking at the group Ann recommended, Constant Reader, for some ideas on organizing our Welcome area and our Archives area. In passing, I noticed that they are having a convention in Portland, OR (hope it hasn't passed already) and I think it's open to anyone. So Jan G, I thought of you. To find them just enter "Constant Reader" in the search field for groups, and they have a discussion folder for their conference. Ann, how are you liking this group?

They have lots of posts! I have only browsed a little on the Constant Reader group, mainly to skim info of what others are reading. (as if I don't already have plenty of books!)

Carol/B..."

Yes, I know, you certainly need more ideas for books to read... (not!)

It looks as though the convention is the 3rd week in September. I will have to look into this. It looks interesting.
