I just went out to Books-A-Million tonight. Though I only intended to browse, they had a great sale going on and I picked up two books for just under eight books! I got a nice, hardcover copy of Shatter Me. (The pretty cover, not the weird one with the he, lol.) I also found a nice copy of Tiger's Curse. I probably could've gotten it at the library and read it, but I couldn't resist it at the price of $3.97! I hope to start it soon!

I got a few free books from the teens section. I would say my best find from there today is

I then bought

I loved that series! You'll really enjoy the last installment!

I assume you haven't read Scarlet yet, then? I just finished it for the Summer Reading Challenge at YAbookaholics. It was awesome! Better then the first, I'd say.

It's always those last few days that are the worst. Lol.

I haven't read Scarlet yet, so that's why I'm buying it. I meant to buy it last month because it was a BOTM for a group I'm in. I didn't get a lot of time to read last month, though, so I didn't get the book.
You'll love it! And I know what you mean. I'm bogged down with so many books to read for challenges and Group Reads. (But that's always a good thing.) I'm hoping to get to the books in this group, and one other I'm a mod in. Hopefully I'll have time to read Paper Towns and Legend. :)

It's a vicious cycle we book lovers land in. :/

- The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows
- Bones to Ashes by Kathy Reichs
- Tell No One by Harlan Coben
- Before I Die by Jenny Downham
- Blackout by Connie Willis

You should definitely get Angelfall, it was really good!
Ooh, so many awesome new book buys! I've been wanting to read Angelfire for a while now, as well as Unraveling and Eve and Adam!
I wish I had more money to buy books, but sadly I'm a poor college student. XD

*Edit*
Here are the covers of the books I've gotten recently:

I'm also supposed to be receiving

It is a good place to find good hardcover books. Usually by the one they come to Goodwill, the paperbacks are all beaten up, but I've found a few good ones there, too.
I recently bought these from my local used bookstore:
The only one that I haven't read is Touched, but I have other books from the series of the books I bought (Ex: I own Delirium, A Million Suns, etc) and wanted all the books in the series.

Borrowed:
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
Words by Ginny L. Yttrup
Bought from bookstore:
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa (a five dollar used hardcover--so awesome)
Bought at Goodwill (two dollars each):
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares (which I know Brittany will be happy about)
Wednesday was such a lucky day for books. It was probably the best selection of books I saw at Goodwill. Almost every time I noticed a title I recognized, I said things like, "that's been turned into a movie, "I've watched the movie--it was really good--but I don't think I'm going to try the book," "I haven't seen the movie of this yet," and anything else movie related. Goodwill is like book-to-movie central.
Also, it seems the the sisterhood of traveling pants really wants me to read it, because I saw thee used copies of the first book (two at Goodwill; one at the bookstore), two copies of the second, one copy of the third, and one of the fourth (at the bookstore). I only bought the first book though.
Yay! You are indeed right, I am happy! ;)
I remember loving the series so much when I was in high school. I hope you like it, too! And hey, it counts toward the Bookaholics Books-to-Movie Challenge as well as the Banner Challenge here. Kill two birds with one stone. Lol.
I also LOVED The Help. It's one of my all-time favorites. I particularly love southern books set during the times of the Civil Rights movement and before. (The Secret Life of Bees, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, Whistling Past the Graveyard, ect. I love them all and highly recommend them if you haven't read them!)
And the movie versions of both Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Help are fantastic. <3
