Beta Reader Group discussion

It's been too long since I've beta read anything. I'd prefer mystery or romance, but I'm desperate so I'll take anything (I just can't guarantee I'll be at all familiar with genre conventions). I can do anything from a general overview of an entire novel to a line-by-line edit of a smaller section.

Send me an email giving me some idea of the type of critique you want/preferred level of harshness/anything you want me to focus on. It would also be helpful if you sent along a brief synopsis with the novel.

I call it literary fiction, a landscape story…takes place primarily in the Empty Quarter, 2009-2010.

Tell me if the trailer interests you…tell me if it is attractive and promising. If so, check Episode 1 which sets up as a background landscape, set in the Bernese Alps, from which the main character leaves for his adventure in the Empty Quarter.

Level of harshness…just be frank. Does it hang together for you? Does it have pace?
